The Book Reviews section will normally consist of:
- Newly published books. A subsection highlighting selected, newly published books received by the Journal that are felt to be of key relevance to readers. In each case, basic details and a brief description of the relevant publication will be provided. An indication will also be given if the book has been allocated for a more formal academic review by HER. [Where a named book has not been allocated for formal review and a reader is interested personally in carrying out a 1000 word review for the Journal (in return for retaining the book), please contact the Book Reviews Editordetails at the end of this section.]
- Book reviews. A subsection containing reviews of specified books by HER reviewers. (If you are interested in becoming a reviewer for HER, please contact the Book Reviews Editorsee above.
- Books received. A subsection listing and giving brief references for books formally received by the Journal.
- Specialist reviews. In addition, it is planned occasionally to produce special book review subsectionssuch as my 10 favorite recent books, or perhaps a review by a guest reviewer, or a specific grouping of books on the same theme.
